1. Scope
These Payment Terms & Authorization govern all purchases on the Homegoing360 Platform, including one-time plans (Companion, Settle, the Gift, the Life Plan), the Vault Keeper subscription, co-brand partner subscriptions, and any provider or designer transactions processed through the Platform. They are incorporated into the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
2. Payment processing
2.1 Processor. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe, Inc. (“Processor”), and, where applicable, its sub-processors. Your use of payment features is also subject to the Processor’s terms and privacy policy. Homegoing360 does not store your full payment card number; card data is handled by the Processor in a PCI-DSS-compliant environment.
Flower orders are processed by a separate processor, Authorize.Net. Card details for those orders are entered on a Homegoing360 page and converted to a token in your browser before they are transmitted; we never receive or store the card number in either case. Both processors are named in the Privacy Policy’s subprocessor table.
2.2 Accurate information. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing and payment information and to promptly update it. You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method you provide.
3. Authorization to charge
3.1 One-time purchases. By submitting an order, you authorize Homegoing360 and its Processor to charge your selected payment method for the total amount shown at checkout, including the price of the item and any applicable taxes and fees.
3.2 The amount charged is the amount shown. The price is set by Homegoing360 and comes from our own catalogue and from the Processor’s record of it. It is never taken from your browser or from anything a page sends us, so a modified page cannot change what you are charged, in either direction.
3.3 Recurring subscriptions. For subscription plans — currently Vault Keeper and co-brand partner plans — you authorize Homegoing360 and its Processor to automatically charge your payment method on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, as selected) at the then-current price, until you cancel. Your authorization remains in effect until you cancel or the subscription terminates.
3.4 Gift purchases. For gift purchases, you authorize a one-time charge for the gift amount. Gift redemption is subject to the terms shown at purchase. One payment mints one gift code; if a payment is processed twice by the payment network, you receive the same code, not a second one, and are charged once.
3.5 Saved payment methods. If you save a payment method, you authorize its use for future purchases and subscription renewals you initiate or enable.
3.6 Updated card information. You authorize us and our Processor to use card-updater services and to charge an updated or replacement card provided by your card issuer, to avoid interruption of a subscription.
3.7 Only you can open your own billing. The billing portal — where you see your card, invoices, and cancel button — can only be opened by the account it belongs to. It cannot be opened on behalf of another account by anyone, including our staff.
4. Prices, taxes, and changes
4.1 Prices. Prices are shown at the point of purchase and are in U.S. dollars.
4.2 Taxes. You are responsible for applicable sales, use, or similar taxes, which may be added at checkout based on your location and applicable law.
4.3 Price changes. We may change prices prospectively. For subscriptions, we will provide advance notice of a price change as required by law, and the new price applies to the next renewal after the notice period. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
5. Subscription renewal, cancellation, and auto-renewal disclosures
5.1 Automatic renewal. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled before the renewal date. For California and other auto-renewal-law states, we present clear-and-conspicuous auto-renewal disclosures before purchase, obtain your affirmative consent to the auto-renewal terms, send a post-purchase acknowledgment, and provide an easy online cancellation mechanism (“click to cancel”).
5.2 How to cancel. You may cancel a subscription at any time through your account billing settings or the customer portal, or by contacting care@homegoing360.com. Cancellation stops future renewals; it takes effect at the end of the current paid period unless otherwise stated.
5.3 Effect of cancellation. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy. For Vault Keeper specifically: the vault locks and nothing is deleted. See the Subscription Terms, Section 6, and the Data Retention Policy.
6. Failed payments and past-due accounts
If a charge fails, we and our Processor may retry the charge. We may suspend or downgrade paid features if a payment remains unpaid. For Vault Keeper, an unpaid subscription locks the vault; it does not delete anything. You remain responsible for amounts owed for periods already provided.
7. Provider, concierge, and designer transactions; payouts
7.1 Marketplace payments. Where the Platform facilitates payment for third-party provider, concierge, or designer services or products, Homegoing360 (via the Processor) may collect payment and remit amounts owed to the third party, less applicable platform fees and commissions, per the applicable agreement.
7.2 Families pay Homegoing360. For co-brand partner instances, families pay Homegoing360 directly for their own accounts; partners are not charged for family accounts and do not receive family payment data.
7.3 Payouts. Payouts to providers, concierges, and designers are governed by their agreements and the Processor’s payout terms, and require valid tax and payout information.
8. Records
We retain the transaction record for every purchase — the amount, the plan, the date and time, and the account — for the period set out in the Data Retention Policy, and we use it for billing support, refunds, and dispute resolution.
The acknowledgments we ask for and record are listed in full in the Disclaimers & User Acknowledgments document, Part C.
